We started with a family picture and then let the kids head over to the play area for more candid shots.  Not only were the kids loving running around but, they also were suggesting places they thought would be really cool spots.  All and all, it was a great time!  I think we all gained feeling back into our fingers and toes within an hour or so.

Every so often I can convince my children to do a photo shoot with me.   I guess, I understand always having a camera shoved in your face can get old after awhile.  This particular day was beautiful and I couldn't stand watching the sun burst through the trees without capturing it.  To my utter amazement Josie agreed to the shoot and actually ran down the hall to find an outfit.  We had a great time together that day and she even told me she would do it again in a heartbeat.  Maybe enjoying it has come with age.  After all in a few years she will be in college and we won't get as many chances.  Her brother better watch out though!
